Oh Where, Oh Where Did My Little Muse Go?!?
I don't know what is wrong with me. I am starting to think that the inspiration section in my brain is broken and is past the point of being fixable. I have had enough fabric cut out to make at LEAST 6 or 7 bears for about 8 months now and can't find enough motivation to actually sit down for a while and start sewing them up. Don't get me wrong, I have wanted to start working on them again for ages, but just can't find it in me to get anything done. My creative juices just aren't flowing and I don't know what to do about it!!!
If anyone has any suggestions I would LOVE to hear from you...Any tips or inspirational seeds of wisdom you can send me would be SOOO Appreciated!!!

This happens to me all the time Jeremy! I tell you what I usually do in times like these. I sew up the head and finish it. When I see those eyes staring back at me, it usually inspires me to go ahead and finish the poor guys body!!!
I just do something, anything! It has to be bear related of course, but it could involve researching bears on the internet, library, magazines, checking out suppliers for new fabrics ... that kind of thing, or it could involve clearing out my workroom (which sometimes sparks an idea when I discover something I've forgotten in my stash, or I might work on updating my website/blog even playing around with new colours can trigger a creative process. It could even involve making a bear! Not something earth shattering, just a simple bear with no great aspirations, something just to get me back in the workroom ... it soon tweaks creativity and gets me back on track. Good luck! I hope you can get started on something very soon!
Hi there, I found your blog from Aleta's blog (the silly bear). I too have been slow at making bears. I find that it helps to have a tea/coffee with a friend that also has a project that is overdue (it doesn't have to be a bear). My friend and I agree to set a date for tea and for show and tell. The friendly deadline seems to help. Good luck, Karen ~ Ciderantiques.blogspot
